Whale Watching Boat Cruise
Knowledgeable guides and skippers will treat you to close encounters with some of the whales that visit the shores during the months of June to November. You could be graced with sightings of the Southern Right Whale in the Bay or Humpback Whales traveling along the coastline.
Monkeyland
A multi-species Primate Sanctuary, Monkeyland is a forever home to ex-captive primates. The aim of the sanctuary is to afford these wonderfully intelligent creatures a healthier, more natural life and aims to raise public awareness about primates. During the one hour guided tour the guides will point out the array of primates living out their natural lives in the 12-ha indigenous forest and regal you with stories about them as well as some fun facts.
Swim with Seals
Go swimming with seals in Plettenberg Bay, a fun and playful experience for all involved. Head towards Robberg Nature Reserve and Marine Protected Area, home to approximately 8000 Cape fur seals. Accompanied by a qualified divemaster, hop into the water and enjoy 30 minutes of amazing animal interaction among bundles of playful, inquisitive fur seals.
Golf - Plettenberg Bay Country Club
Plettenberg Bay Country Club has an 18 hole golf course set in a private nature reserve. The highly rated course is a very popular tourist destination. The course is easy to walk, and the 2 main inclines can be observed from the veranda. Visitors are welcome. Lush Kikuyu grass fairways and bayview greens recently over seeded to bent grass provides golfers with an excellent playing surface on this park like golf course.
